The
Global Validation Server is a service node of Intelis’ Universal
Call Processor (UCP).
It may be used as an autonomous product to perform various validation
services or as a component of a total call processing solution.
Simply stated, the iGVS is handed a bill-to-number (BTN) that needs to be
validated.
Based upon the BTN, the iGVS determines how the BTN is to be validated
and then issues a validation request to the appropriate validation source.
The iGVS interprets the validation response and issues this response to
the requesting process. iGVS can be fully redundant or can operate as
stand-alone.
