Web-enabled Centrex - An Intelis Class 5 Enhanced Services Product


 

·         Provides PBX- like functionality without the need of customer premise equipment (CPE).

·         It provides both Commercial and Residential telephone assistants.

·         Unique ability to make and receive calls using the web interface.

 

The Intelis Centrex System addresses:

1.       Current Centrex market.  This includes small to medium sized companies that do not wish to purchase and maintain a PBX.

2.       Small to medium sized companies that typically would purchase a PBX or Key System.  Because of the added features and benefits of the ICS, the ICS is a solution for customers that normally would purchase or lease a PBX.

3.       Multiple individuals working from home.  The ICS supports subscribers that are distributed over the area supported by the OCX.  Therefore companies with a distributed work force that previously would not have used any enhanced switching capability other than standard POTS lines can use the ICS.

Future versions of the ICS shall address specific vertical markets and shall include features that are specific to these markets.  Potential targeted vertical markets would include real estate agencies, restaurants, law offices and accounting firms.
