WebScriber - An Intelis Class 5 Enhanced Services Product


Webscriber is a web-based personal telephone assistant. This network based service works in conjunction with the Taqua OCX switch. The combination of the Taqua switch and Intelis Webscriber provide a product that revolutionizes the local calling experience.

 

·            Ability to initiate calls from or receive additional call data information using the web interface.

·            Ability to configure caller specific call treatments such as Call Forwarding, Ring Type, Special Message greetings via a programmable web-enabled interface.  All call treatments are configurable based on time of day.

·            Webscriber can be used as a standalone product or an interface to the Intelis Centrex System (ICS).

·            Ability to run the web application using any commercial browser such as IE5 and Netscape.

·            Provide real-time instructions of various call treatments using the web interface.

Example: Phone A (Caller Number 770-555-4300 Caller Name Mumbower, Karl) calls Phone B (Caller Number 770-239-1005). The following diagram displays the answered call (Status – Talking) details using the Web interface.  When party B sees this diagram, a decision can be made as to how to route the call based on the available options.

Example: If Phone A (Caller Number 770-239-1004 /Caller Name Frank Rolinson) calls Phone B (Caller Number 770-239-1005) between 8am – 5pm daily, then the call routes to voicemail after one ring.
