Intelis Directory Assistance (DA)

The Directory Assistance (DA) application provides operators with the ability to perform real-time directory assistance services to the caller. Connected to a national DA database over the Internet, the Intelis DA application is extremely fast and offers a wide range of search parameters. Customers also can use their own DA database to provide specialized DA services. This application can be run as stand-alone or can be seamlessly integrated into other UOS applications such as Operator Services. This allows the operators to provide the caller with instant directory assistance information from within the UOS application.

The Directory Assistance application OCX is supplied by MASS Inc.

Directory Assistance Functionality and Features

Complete world zone one search engine.
Wild-card searching available.
Search on NPA, state, locality, street name or any combination thereof.
Search businesses or residential.
Integrates seamlessly with other UOS applications.
Custom-configured user interface.
High-speed secure TCP/IP connection to national DA via the Internet.
Supports proprietary DA databases. This can save on national DA vendor charges.
Destination number can be sent to an automated attendant for number voicing and call completion.
Operator screen will contain the destination number once selected from the DA application. Thus, allowing for operator assisted call completion without having to write the number down or memorizing it from screen to screen.
National DA use charge is billed if listing is found and used to show full number.
